Beaulieu Motor Museum

The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu houses one of the World's finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia. Speed enthusiasts will love the legendary F1 cars and also the classic land speed record breaking vehicles. 285 exhibits cover the history of motoring from 1875 to the present day.

Bucklers Hard

This beautiful hamlet sits on the banks of the Beaulieu river and is part of the large Beaulieu estate. A maritime museum here tells the unique story of how this village was a prominent 18th Century naval shipbuilding centre producing warships for Nelson's navy. 3 such vessels were in the ranks during the famous British naval victory at Trafalgar in 1805.

Exbury Gardens

Also close to Beaulieu are the ever popular and beautiful gardens at Exbury, which belongs to the Rothschild Estate. Often considered the finest garden of it's type in the UK Exbury is a woodland garden with extensive collections of azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. Guests can also ride our narrow-gauge railway or enjoy picnics by our tranquil ponds.

Sammy Miller Motorbike Museum

Motorcycling legend Sammy Miller, is the former 11 times British Champion and winner of over 1400 bike events. His museum at Bashley in the New Forest boasts one of the very best collections of fully restored motorcycles in the World. Sammy himself is still very much involved in the museum and still demonstrates his bikes on museum event days or at race circuits around the UK.

Whats On - Paultons Park

Paultons Park

Boasting over 70 rides and attractions the extremely popular Paultons Theme Park at Ower is a must-do day out for younger thrill seeking visitors. Smaller children will love the Peppa Pig World area and there is also a Lost Kingdom area with 27 animatronic dinosaur models. The newest addition to the park is Tornado Springs, a western-themed area.

New Forest Water Park

NFWP close to Ringwood offers a complete range of family friendly activities. Kids will hugely enjoy the largest Aqua Park in the UK, including huge inflatables to clamber over. Wakeboarders of all levels can practice their skills. Instructor lessons are available on a one-to-one basis. For those who like a slower tempo kayaks and paddleboards are available to hire on our gorgeous freshwater lake.

The New Forest Heritage Centre

To find out more about The New Forest, its history and traditions please visit the free-entry museum, gallery and library in Lyndhurst, at the very heart of The New Forest. The museum is family friendly and children can enjoy interactive activities plus quizzes, trails and colouring sheets. There are also New Forest themed costumes available for kids to dress up in. On site there is also an excellent cafe and gift shop.

Avon Tyrrell

Avon Tyrrell is a leading outdoor learning centre for young people to aid their development. Families can enjoy a short break here experiencing the great outdoors and many activities such as climbing, kayaking, archery, bushcraft and high ropes. Bikes can be hired to go off-road on our coloured trails - suitable for beginners or more hardened riders. All in all there's plenty here to keep the whole family excited.
